Desaru Trip: Part 3 - Relax, dinner and home sweet home

After all the tiring games, it was time for tea to replenish our energy. But the gals got there first, so the guys had no choice but to look on.

A bunch of hungry ladies

After that, some of them went to play beach volleyballs.

Asking for compensation?

The game started...

But Jeremy couldn't take it anymore

Ball: Were you looking for me?

Danny doing the gymnastic pose

Dinner by the pool

Some girls doing meditation at the water fall

Kevral must have offended Danny, he looks like he's gonna kill her with the ball

Dinner in preparation

And it happen to be Audrey Wong's birthday

After dinner, we went to play american pool, table tennis and karaoke. Then a few of us continue to the wee hours playing 5-10 drinking games. I was amazed that I could wake up the next morning for breakfast. It was an uneventful morning as most of them were resting in the room. I was hanging around the lobby and saw my fellow ladies colleagues.

"Don't take leh! I don't have my makeup!"

Panda Shih Keen without her make up

Siew Yen pondering over life...

Finally, we checked out and boarded the coach.

Audrey with the V-sign. (Why all the gals like to do that?)

Finally, we board the ferry bounded for Singapore!

Desaru Trip: Part 2 - Lunch, shopping and Game time!

After arriving in Malaysia, we headed for Sungai Rengit town to had our
unforgettable (or should I say forgettable) lunch at a seafood restaurant.

The restaurant where we had our lunch

Mini fish ball anyone?

Two cute little chilli crab

The lobster we never had

A photo of Sungai Rengit town
After lunch, we went to shop at their local 'Carefour' supermarket for drinks and snacks.

Everyone waiting to check in at the Hotel lobby

We met at 2.30 for the 3 team building games organised by the hotel staff. The first game was to find the complete set of cutleries that were in the swimming pool.

The game master explaining the rules.

Danny flying on air

Some hair-raising moment

The complete set of culteries that we found from the swimming pool.

The winning team of the game (James Bond's Butler)
Szu Siong and his empty pail - what was he thinking?

Game two was to walk over some bricks and planks blind folded, under the instruction of the team leader. The opposing team splashed water to deter the team and hopefully make them commit mistakes.

We were all drenched after the second game

We then went over to see how the other two teams were doing:

They were fighting for the culteries in the pool..

So the guys just watched in amusement

The third and final game was treasure hunt. Each team is given 5 pictures of a location in the hotel. We had to find the hidden envelope near the vinicity of that location and answer the question in the envelope.

Bernard, our team leader, checking the clues and 'treasure' we found. (We almost won if not for the violation of rules)

And indeed they won

Desaru trip; Part 1 - Ferry me please

Finally, I made it to the company trip for the first time in my five years working there! (Due to reasons I would prefer not to mention, I missed the Batam and Bintan trip in the two preceding years).

We had to take a ferry from Changi Ferry Terminal, so everyone were supposed to meet there.

Some interesting moments at the Ferry Terminal and on board the ferry...

Nuno: Yeah man! Thanks for the bread.
Victor: Is it too heaty for me?

EK all gear up for golf!

Aud: 你在拍我嗎?

Kev: I think I have bugs on my hair

Irean and Kevral (what's up with the V-sign?)

Stone-faced Shih Keen

Everyone has arrived and waiting to go in

Tour Guide (in red): Boys and Gals, that's the entrance, don't rush in ok. Please queue up

Attention!

Everyone enjoying the sun

My first department photo

Shih Keen almost got thrown into the sea

CK: Hee hee, Golfing time!

Half of the ferry passengers went onboard the cruise when we arrived at Johor Ferry Terminal. Apparently its bound for international water...(Hint: $$$)

Next - Lunch at Sungai Rengit and check in to hotel
